Create a Roadbook

SEEKERS allows you to automatically generate a roadbook out of nealy every track. Open an existing GPX track, or record a track with SEEKERS.

The following elements will be generated:

  • Masked Waypoints in off-road sections
The algorithm checks for significant direction changes in off-road sections. A masked waypoint will be added, as soon as you reach a radius of 300m to this waypoint, an arrow will pop up and lead you to the waypoint. The note at the waypoint will give you the CAP heading to the next note.
  • Notes with CAP heading in off-road sections
If there is only a small change in the direction in an off-road section, a note with CAP heading to the next note will be added. Attention, it is tricky to reach the next note. But there will be a waypoint soon to verify if you are right.
  • Notes for each maneuver on road sections
If the track follows a road, a note for each turn will be generated
  • Verification notes on road sections
If you are following a road a note will be generated if you are crossing a road, which is bigger than the road you are traveling. In addition a note will be added, even if the crossing road has the same size, if the last note is more than 3km away (500m on small tracks).
  • Tulip for each note
Each note has a tulip with the well known FIA/FIM symbols. See Roadbook Lexicon

Currently there is only a subset of the FIM roadbook icons supported, but more and more will follow.
